Mitch Evans has achieved its second victory in the GP2 Series after taking victory in the German Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg. Vandoorne was second after leading most of the race. Palmer completed the podium after starting from pole position.
The race started with a temperature of 34 º C in the atmosphere and a temperature of 57 º C on track, very high temperatures for tires.
The start was very rough on the second curve have been several hints but an accident in Turn 3 between Lancaster and Markelov, caused the Russian Time RT Russian abandonment of the race and the first safety car of the race.

We had a nice battle between Nasr, Berthon and Coletti. The Racing Engineering overtook Nasr, while Berthon lacked pace to surpass Nasr and Coletti.
The Brazilian driver Felipe Nasr had much pace and looked he could overtake Cecotto, which was held in the curve twelve Cecotto after being passed is out of track, and that made Colletti what exploited to overtake Felipe Nasr and end in the fourth final place.
